Freestyle Avenue was conceptualized in Borneo in 2008. As a talent sourcing and consultancy agency, we strive to provide the best talent to suit the right event. Freestyle Avenue is open to ideas and we are interested in the kind of talent we represent, and the kind of event we involve ourselves in. We have flexible rates depending on the type of event we are catering for, as well as the type of Artiste we recommend. Our network consists of Artistes, Artists, Singers, Songwriters, Illustrators, Voice talents, Studios,Photographers, Musicians, DJs, Emcees and Comedians. We like to put the right people in the right place.
Riding the waves is Singer-Songwriter, musician and Voice Over
talent, Amir Yussof. A recording Artiste with three solo albums
to date, he now manages, creates or assists to produce events
and performs with his band Roots around Kota Kinabalu, Sabah,
Malaysian Borneo and Asia . In his spare time he attempts to talk
to animals, asks the sun for ideas and works on unwrapping the
layers that are sometimes stifling him. He likes computer games,
gardening and learning.
On another plane is Cynthia Ong. She brings 20 years of entrepreneurship, social justice and community activism, through her roles as founder/co-founder, board director and CEO of numerous organizations, both for-profit and not-for-profit in South East Asia and in the U.S. Her experience has been in the fields of organizational leadership, special events and project management, and facilitation/mediation. A world-citizen and member of the great community of living creatures on Earth, Cynthia engages in areas of deep, transformative work which she feels are crucial and strategic to the health and care of the world and her communities.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of Land Empowerment Animals People – LEAP – a U.S. and Malaysian non profit corporation with the purpose of facilitating projects, partnerships and exchanges that provoke sustainable ecological co-existence between groups, communities, nations and regions of the world. In the spare time that she doesn’t have, Cynthia kicks ass or contorts in strange yoga positions.
